Anfield is in a residential area and therefore as with many clubs parking restrictions are enforced on match days that
restrict parking to residents only around the stadium. If you decide to drive in to Liverpool then you can park in one of the
many charged secure parking areas that the city has. If travelling by train then Liverpool Lime Street is the main station,
however this is about 3 miles from the ground and a long walk, you can take a train from Lime Street to Liverpool Central
station where you will be able to catch a train to either Sandhills or Kirdale stations, which are both about a mile from the
ground
There are no hotels near Anfield so staying in Liverpool city centre is recommended. The 4 star Marriot on Queens Square is
in a great location for access to Anfield and also the citys vibrant nightlife. For more economical accommodation, the 2
star Lord Nelson hotel is also in the city centre only 200 yards from Lime Street station and a 5 minute drive from Liverpool
football club.
Liverpool city centre is packed with restaurants, bars and clubs. The Living Rooms on Victoria Street is a classy place that
serves quality food and a large selection of drinks. Try the Korova on Fleet Street for live bands and DJs. If you fancy
something to eat and some entertainment while you dine, try Christakis Greek Taverna on York Street, where you can take part
in Greek Dancing, Plate Smashing and Belly Dancing. Christakis also has a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights until 2am. For
