The nearest station to Fratton Park is Fratton which is about a 10 minute walk from the ground. The nearest mainline station
is Portsmouth which is about a 25-30 minute walk from the ground. If you are driving to Fratton Park, parking should not be a
problem as there is a large car park behind the TY Europe Stand, however this is for home fans only. Away team supporters
will have to rely on street parking.
There is little hotel accommodation in the Fratton area. It is recommended to stay in either the recently redeveloped
Gunwharf area or the traditional holiday spot of Southsea. Both are within a couple of miles of Fratton Park with the pick of
the hotels being the Express by Holiday Inn in Gunwharf Quays and the Best Western Queens hotel in the seafront area of
Southsea.
There can be no doubt that the Gunwharf quays complex is the place to be in Portsmouth. The redeveloped naval base has over 20 bars and restaurants to choose from including the Tiger Tiger bar and restaurant as well as other regular names such Pizza Express and Frankie & Bennys. There is also a 14 screen Vue cinema complex, a bowling alley with 26 lanes and Jongleurs comedy club. All you need for a great evening out! For more information visit
