Because of a manufacturing issue, Toyota has recently recalled 2.3 million vehicles, warning drivers that a malfunction can cause the accelerator to stick to the floor. The car company claims that-while the probability of this happening is low-the risk of Toyota acceleration issues increases as the gas pedal wears over time.
